Wreath Christmas Card


Here's a wreath card that I made using the flower center of the Beautiful Bunch Stamp Set.  I stamped around a 3/4" circle as my guide using Garden Green Ink.  I stamped over and over turning my stamp a little as I went around the circle, making a wreath shape.  I went back over and over till all the blank spaces were filled in.  After I completed the card, I realized, I could have stamped some more and I should have stamped the Hardwood Stamp Set using Crumb Cake Ink instead of Early Espresso.  Anyway, I really liked the way it turned out but I am not sure if this is too much stamping for a card class.  Although the card is rather easy to put together, I am thinking there will be a lot of waiting for that flower center to make the wreath. 

The "Merry Christmas" saying is from the just retired More Merry Messages Stamp Set.

Another Open Heart Christmas Card


Here's another Christmas Card I made using the An Open Heart Stamp Set.  This one I used an Retired Garden Green Craft Ink Pad to stamp the main image and embossed the image in Clear Embossing powder. I also used some retired watercolor crayons and aqua painter to color my image.   Everything was sponged using Soft Suede Ink.  
Here's another view of the card.  I think I like this card more than the one I made the other day.  Although I really like that Gold Satin Ribbon on the other card .

Beauty of the Season Christmas Card


Here's another Christmas Card I made yesterday.  This is the first card I have made with the Beauty of the Season Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog.  I love to watercolor but for classes it gets a little time consuming.  I thought using a circle punch for the main image would be great for a class because there will be less to watercolor.  

I stamped the main image in StazOn Jet Black and colored using my aqua painter and ink pads.  I colored the bird with Cherry Cobbler Ink but when I put the card together I realized the coloring looked more Real Red so I changed the color of this card.

An Open Heart Christmas Card


Today was the first day back to school for all my kids. I was so excited to spend some uninterrupted time in my stamping room, Yeah!  I enjoyed playing around making some Christmas Cards.  Not sure about this card layout but when I saw this stamp set in the catalog, I wanted to make a Christmas Card.  I will have to play some more with this image.  

The branch image is embossed with gold embossing powder and colored in using my aqua painter and ink pads.  I used Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, and Early Espresso for the colors of this card.  


Not sure if you know but the products from the Holiday Carryover List from last year are only available through 11:50 PM [MT] on Wednesday, August 27th, that is tomorrow!  The saying on the front of this card is from a stamp set "More Merry Messages" and it is on that list.  I love this set, it has great sayings for the inside of the card was well.  If you like this set, you need to order it A.S.A.P.   I will be keeping this one for a while, since there is not a replacement for this stamp set in the new holiday catalog.  

I did forget to add the Retired Square Lattice Embossing Folder.
