Gorgeous Grunge Birthday Shaker Cards

I sat down to create a couple Kid/Teenager Birthday cards.  With the lack of Teenager Stamp Sets, I pulled out the Gorgeous Grunge and the SAB Big Day Stamp Set to create some.  I thought I would also turn them into a Shaker Card.  The top card is Navy of Night, Real Red, Whisper White, Crushed Curry, and Pool Party.

The one on the right was inspired by this card that I saw on Pinterest.  The colors are Calypso Coral, Sahara Sand, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry and Whisper White.  The one on the right, I believe I stuffed it too much, LOL.

I can't figure out which one I like best.

Thanks for stopping by and letting me know what you think.
Thanks,

SAB A Happy Thing Scallop Tag Card

I know that the Scallop Tag Card have been around since the Scallop Tag Punch came out and I have been meaning to make one.  I sat down in my craft room and created this one using the SAB A Happy Thing Stamp Set.  I also used the Gorgeous Grunge and the Butterfly Basic Stamp Sets which are my favorites for creating a vintage look to cards. The card base is Soft Suede with layers of Soft Sky and Very Vanilla.  I used an Retired 3-flower punch for the Soft Sky flowers.  The trim on the inside of the card is a strip of Soft Suede a little less than an inch wide and I used the Scallop Border Punch on both sides.

I stamped the bird on a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and used the Blendabilities to color the bird.  I fussy cut the bird and added him to the card front using dimensionals.

To add to the vintage look, I sponged everything with the Soft Suede Ink.

I do like the way this card turned out.  I will have to play more with this card shape.

Mojo Monday 384 SAB Lotus Blossom

Here's a card that I created using the Mojo Monday 384 sketch and the SAB Lotus Blossom Stamp Set.  I have been wanting to play with the SAB Lotus Blossom Stamp Set since I got it but just kept forgetting to.  I again used the SAB Irresistibly Yours SDSP with the Stampin' Spritzer that I used yesterday.  The flower was stamped with the Rose Red, Blushing Bride, and Pink Pirouette on a scrap piece of Whisper White and fussy cut and attached using a Stampin Dimensional.  The stems were stamped using the Pear Pizzazz and Wild Wasabi. The cardbase is Sahara Sand.

Cherry Blossom Tree

Wishing for spring to hurry up and arrive.  With the thought of Cherry Blossom Blooming, I pulled out the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set to make a Cherry Blossom Tree.  I pulled out the SAB Irresistibly Yours SDSP and used my Stampin Spritzer filled with Pear Pizzazz Reinker, Retired Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint, and Rubbing Alcohol to spray the DSP.  I stamped the leaves/dots 3 times using the Rose Red, Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette.   The pearls were colored with the Darkest Pink Pirouette Blendabilities Marker.  I used a retired Label Punch Pack but I am going to order and use the flower from the New Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. I think it looks like a Cherry/Dogwood blossom flower.

Valentine Treats

These are the Valentine Treats that we created at the workshop over the weekend.  The Pull-Out Valentine Treat Holder I found on Youtube - created by Angie Kennedy Juda. The little Nugget Boxes made with the Scalloped Tag Punch, I found on a google search -   made by Julie Davison.    These were super easy and quick to make.  My daughter and I sat done yesterday and finished them for her class.

Valentine Shaker Card

Here's the Valentine Shaker Card that we made at the workshop over the weekend.  I wanted to create a card that the ladies could give to their husbands.  The group had a great time making this card and it was a lot of fun showing some newbies how to stamp.

Birthday Shaker Card

I had a workshop over the weekend.  It was Valentine Theme and one of the things we made was a Valentine Shaker Card.  I have been wanting to make a Shaker Card for awhile now.  I had a few of the kits leftover so I decided to make Birthday Cards out of the kits, so this is what I created.

When I was making the card kits, I ran out of the Typeset DSP so I had to use some Retired 1st Edition DSP.  This card I has the 1st Edition DSP.

Let me know what you think of the card!
